Vittoriano Bitossi Foundation
The Foundation was established in 2008
by the Bitossi family initiative and is dedicated to the entrepreneur, Cavaliere Vittoriano Bitossi (1923-2018), a generous supporter of cultural and charitable events. It is a non-profit organisation.
The Foundation is mainly supported by the Colorobbia Group and aims to enhance and spread culture, historical and scientific research on ceramic art.
The Foundation pursued the project promoted by Cinzia Bitossi in 2000, which involved the creation and management of a permanent collection of the ceramics produced by her company. The artifacts, the equipment and the paper documentation collected, catalogued and organized, formed the Bitossi Industrial Archive - AIB.
In 2011, the Bitossi Foundation joined Museimpresa,the Italian association of company museums and archives promoted by Assolombarda and Confindustria.
